When it comes to make-up, less is definitely for me. The less I put on, means the less of a possibility of walking out of my house looking like a clown. Therefore, I focus on taking good care of my skin. I’m in my 30’s now, which means I’ve slathered a good amount of skincare on my face to have nailed some favorites…check out the list below.
I’ve been using eye cream since I can remember. My motto has been ‘prevention instead of correction’ – for a very long time I would buy any random kind of eye cream till’ I came across this baby. I use it for my morning eye cream (still on the hunt for the night one). It smells delicious and contains caffeine that helps wake up your eyes.
This is an all in one, which makes getting ready a whole lot quicker. It’s a moisturizer, cc cream, and contains spf – what else do ya need? My skin tends to get really dry in the winter, what I do- after washing my face, I apply face oil then Supergoop and I am ready to go!
Exfoliating is the one thing that instantly transforms my skin. Needless to say, I have a couple favorites in this category. This one by Suki is 100% natural, and every single time I use it it leaves my skin feeling extra clean and oh so soft.
This one is a cleanser, but it also contains a gentle exfoliant and it is so gentle you can use this every single day. So the above, by Suki, I only use once a week to not aggravate my skin, but this one is an every day use. It contains rose oil; not sure if that does anything for you…that was the sole reason I initially purchased it and I’m so glad I did!
Ok…so let me be very honest on this one- I was about a third way through the bottle when I realized this was a cleanser + a mask. I was so confused on this product when I initially started using because, of course, I didn’t read the directions. I was using it as a regular face wash, and this is NOT your regular face wash: wet face, apply cleanser, massage for a few seconds, then rinse off…no, no, no: wet face, apply cleanser, massage on and leave on for about 5 minutes (key step), THEN rinse off. Amazing results when done properly lol.
So those were my favorites; I still use a face oil, night eye cream, face serum, a night face cream, and facials…still on the hunt for a favorite in these categories. If you guys happen to have some favorites and would like to share them with me….leave a comment below. I would love to hear them!!
